New Big Town Ride

Inn of the Ozarks
5-15 miles / 1-2 hours
This ride is the epitome of all the secret Eureka trail adventures you have heard of and will be led by Several Local Riders. This years’ ride will be broken up into two groups; Advanced and Leisure. The rides begin at the lot next to the Inn of the Ozarks across from Tad’s Quick Stop. Without hesitation you will dive into single track and begin a tour through the back streets, alleys and secret routes only the natives know about. Can’t do this one without a guide! The ride will carry on at a reasonable pace and recollect often. Broken down into three segments, the ride will offer a bail-out option every 3-5 miles. Trails on the rides include; Black Bass, Oil Springs, Larry’s Loops, Riley, West Bypass, Power Line Cut, Crescent Park, Spring Garden, Magnolia Sidewalk,Passion Play, East Mountain, Mill Hollow and more. Both rides will converge at some point at Adventure Mountain Outfitters for a beverage break before ending up back at the Inn of the Ozarks. This is the no-miss ride of the weekend. XC Course Pre-Ride
Saturday, 13th /2pm
Basin Park
4-20 miles / 1-3 hours
This is a great opportunity for anyone to see what is ahead for Sunday or just check out the course. The course will be fully marked at this point but it’s always nice to ride with a local. The ride will have bail out points at the 4, 8 and 12 mile point. The total ride to the finish is 18 miles. The first bail out point is still in town at the Lake Leatherwood Park Boundary. The second is the LLCP Ball fields, the third is the Beginner finish cut off and the end of the ride is the complete Sport distance. Maps are provided but no shuttles are provided so plan your return shuttle or be forced to ride the additional miles back to your car from the bailout points or the end. Refreshments provided at the park.
