NOTICE: COMPETITORS MUST REGISTER AT THE PHAT TIRE SHORT TRACK FRIDAY NIGHT TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR ANY OF THE OMNI CHALLENGES EXCLUDING THE DOWNHILL DUO. DOWNHILL DUO REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FRIDAY EVENING AT THE SHORT TRACK AND SATURDAY MORNING AT THE DOWNHILL REGISTRATION.
The Omni Challenges are designed to be the tell tale of who is the overall “Fattest” cyclist. This year we are offering three Omni Competitions: Fatty Omni, XC Tri-Omni, and the Downhill Duo. Entry fees are inclusive for all disciplines listed. No individual entry fee necessary making for a nice discount when you compete in one of the Omni events.
Here is how it works. Competitors are scored in all a variety of disciplines; Short Track, Downhill, Super D, Observed Trials, & Cross Country. Competitors may compete in varying classes and categories between disciplines depending on the Omni Category, he/she entered. Competitors must enter congruent categories for XC STXC and Super D. Field points will be calculated along with the point schedule for each category.
CAT I -60 point schedule / Up to 10 field points allowed – Highest score available is 70 points for 1st with 10 person field
CAT II -50 point schedule / Up to 15 field points allowed – Highest score available is 65 points for 1st with 15 person field
CAT III 40 point schedule / Up to 20 field points allowed – Highest score available is 60 points for 1st with 20 person field

Mr. Fatty competing in the Fatty Omni for example:
STXC CAT I 1st place in field of 9 /60 + 9 = 69 points
DH CAT II 4th place in field of 18 /44 + 15=59 points
SUPER D CAT I 1st place in field of 15 /60 +15=75 points OT CAT III 5th place in field of 12 /22+12 =44 points XC CAT I 2nd place in field of 15 /54+10 =64 points
301 total points for Mr. Fatty
Mrs. Fatty competing in the XC Tri-Omni for example:
STXC CAT I 1st place in field of 9 /60 + 9 = 69 points
SUPER D CAT I 1st place in field of 15 /60 +15=75 points
XC CAT I 2nd place in field of 15 /54+10 =64 points
208 total points for Mrs. Fatty
The Downhill Duo will work differently. Combined times will determine winners. The gamble is which Duo do you think your times will hold up in.

DOWNHILL DUO COMPETITORS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO RACE IN CONGRUENT CATEGORIES BETWEEN DISCIPLINES.
- All Cat I competitors are required to have an annual USAC license.
- All Cat II-III competitors are required to have an annual or one-day USAC license.
- Licenses will be available at registration. All Fatty Omni and Tri-Omni competitors will have to purchase an annual AMBCS license to compete in the XC event.
- All USAC Rules apply
